UNDER THE RUBBLE LISTENING DEVICE

Seismic sensors, also called ‘Seismic Acoustic Listening Devices’, are designed to detect different ‘sounds’ (e.g. scratching, banging, screaming, etc.) coming from victims trapped under the rubble after a disaster. The Control Panel converts these ‘waves/vibrations’ into ‘sounds’ and ‘bar graphs’ so that rescuers can locate the victim’s location under the rubble. There are two types of seismic sensors available: Wireless sensors have an unobstructed range of 100 m and an 8 hour operating time, Wired sensors have an 8 m cable and are powered directly from the control box via the cable. ADJUSTABLE NOISE FILTER Noise filters allow rescuers to eliminate high and low pitched interference from pneumatic drills, rescue vehicles, wind, cables, etc.
